Henry Wood Hall

The Henry Wood Hall was converted from a church in the early 1970s. After the introduction of the Disabilities Discrimination Act it was realised that it was ill-suited for disabled access and shrapnel damage from the Second World War and rusting stonework cramps meant that conservation work was urgently needed. We designed an access ramp to the main entrance, a disabled WC in the crypt, a new passenger lift and scheduled the stonework damage for specialist repair.
