The flagship Safestore Wembley facility, is a five‑storey self‑storage development designed to meet the growing demand for high‑quality storage within one of North London’s most densely populated residential areas. The project provides a much‑needed amenity while setting a new benchmark for contemporary self‑storage design.

The building features over 150 storage units, 24‑hour CCTV, secure access control, EV charging, and undercroft parking, all integrated within a striking contemporary façade that includes curtain walling and a prominent green living wall. The facility achieved an excellent BREEAM rating, reflecting HTC Architects’ continued commitment to sustainable design.

HTC Architects took the scheme from tender through to building regulations and delivery on site, resolving a range of technical challenges including fire strategy compliance, floor height coordination, dry riser placement, and the complex integration of the living wall system. The project also involved successfully navigating planning and construction levy requirements—saving the client significant cost through a carefully staged approach to completion and presentation of the works.
