We have undertaken the careful and phased transformation of this Grade II listed farmhouse in West Sussex, delivering a body of work that balances architectural sensitivity with long‑term resilience and contemporary living standards. Our involvement began with a comprehensive masterplan for the estate, followed by the design and construction of a series of complementary outbuildings—including garages, a home office, a gym, and additional guest accommodation—all arranged around the reinstated “farmyard” to restore the site’s historic layout and character.

The final phase focused on the refurbishment of the main house and the full reconstruction of the barn, a structure that had been poorly converted into accommodation in the 1980s. Years of inadequate intervention had led to significant deterioration of its original timber frame, requiring us to strip the building back and rebuild it with painstaking attention to heritage detail. The reconstructed barn now stands as a robust, beautiful, and functional component of the estate, embodying both authenticity and longevity.
