Warehouse and Office reconstruction in Bradford following a fire in 2017.
Situating the building in the same base location, the rebuild gave HTC the chance to design a more efficient and usable space. By switching from an L-shaped plan to a rectangular one, we were able to provide a larger service yard area and retain the existing internal area, whilst utilising a more functional floor plan. Additionally, the car park was re-worked to provide more spaces and a plant area was proposed to the rear of the building.
The glazed, chamfered corner provides a feature entrance, which neatly summarises the more modernised and higher-quality product achieved during the redesign.
