Planning Submitted: Christie’s Farm

We are pleased to announce that our scheme at Christie’s Farm has been submitted to planning! 👏👏

The project promises the renovation of the Grade II listed Threshing Barn and ancillary buildings into a farm shop and café, alongside the conversion of a large, open Dutch barn into artisans’ workshops.✨✨

Christie’s Farm is located along the Agatha Christe trail – near her historic home in Wallingford in beautiful South Oxfordshire, and the team at our HTC Architects London office have worked hard to create a sympathetic yet efficient design that is both in keeping with the local area, whilst also maximising the productivity for the businesses that will operate from the site. 🏞️🏞️

The pre-application proposal was supported by the council and required a multidisciplinary approach from the wider team – including input from CAPREOLUS, HCUK Group, Ecology by Design, Andrew Moseley Associates Transport and Development Planning and FDA Landscape to ensure preservation of the existing building’s fabric whilst creating a centre for engaging, efficient and valuable public use. 🎉🎉

We look forward to receiving feedback for the scheme from the council soon and moving the project along to the next stage! 🙌🙌
